FENITON

Feniton is about 12 miles from the City of Exeter. It is a village with a lot of interesting history and during the Victorian heyday of the railway was an important junction on the main Waterloo line. There is an old part of the village which boasts some very pretty thatched longhouses.

Zellingen

Feniton is a small village in the County of Devon in England.
In 1976 it signed a twinning charter with Louvigny, a small village in Normandy, France

This web site will tell you a bit more about the two villages and the activities that take place. It will also give you details of how to join and get involved

LOUVIGNY

Louvigny is a village, just outside Caen, on the banks of the river Orne.
There is a very beautiful old part of the village, with large stone built houses. There is also a very modern part of the village, with a large Sports Hall and supermarket.

Zellingen is a large village on the river Maine, in Franconia, Germany. Louvigny is twinned with Zellingen and Feniton has a Charter of Friendship with them. Although it is about 700 miles by road, many small group trips have been arranged over the years. The area, the food, beer and wine are excellent.
